REFERENCE E1/21/1 111 (16) FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE CLASS BOYCOTTS AND DISRUPTIONS BY THE UNIVERSITY OF BOTSWANA STUDENTS The Ministry of Education and Skills development has noted with great concern the class boycotts and current disturbances at the University of Botswana caused by a section of the student population. The Ministry would like to take this opportunity to advise all government sponsored students to desist from such behavior and report for classes with immediate effect. To this end , students who are found to participate in or instigate class boycott/disruptions and threaten other students or engage in any conduct that may be interpreted as influence to other students not to attend classes will have their sponsorship withdrawn. This applies to all government students at the University of Botswana and any other tertiary institution.
