REFLECTION: I am thankful that I am easily entertained and as I move further along into this so-called “middle age maturity” these are some of my reflections of the simpler things of life that I SO ENJOY …and they don’t cost a thing – • Time alone with God first thing in the morning praying and reading His Word with a good cup of coffee; • A nice stroll on the beach – it is almost majestic to watch the sun come up, feel the sand in my toes and hear the pounding waves; • A good, hearty laugh – one that my jaw hurts and I have to hold my side – that is a natural physical remedy to almost all that ails us; • Floating in the pool on a hot, sunny Florida day and stretching and treading water in the deep end to stretch my joints and body; • Sitting out front at night – when there is a cool breeze and sipping a nice cold brewskie and looking at the sky, the moon and the stars. • A lunch or evening out with Michial…. My beautiful girls …. My family ….. and my favorite girlfriends. It is refreshing to get away even just for a cup of coffee or a lunch with those you love, even for just an hour. And… have I done any or all of these lately?? Certainly not enough …. Share some of your FAV things to do when you have a moment to spare….. make us smile on this “Monday” (ha ha) :) :)
