REFLECTION TODAY (06-06-2013) READINGS: Tobit6:10-11;7:1,9-14;8:4-9 (Rep Ps128:1-5) and Mark12:28-34 IF GOD ANSWERS ALL OUR PRAYERS: ON THE IMPORTANCE OF PRAYER, LOVE & TOLERANCE “Do not succumb to the human FACTS; always ask for the TRUTH from God, as Tobias did” “God KNOWS and ALLOWS whatever that happens to us for a greater good; Always try to find out from God through Prayer. For out of an Impossible or Bad situations can come out something Possible & Good – For Nothing is impossible to God (Gen18:14; Lk1:37), God can do all things.” “And the prayer of faith shall save the Sick…The effectual fervent Prayer of a Righteous Man availeth much (James5:15a,16b)….O blessed are those who fear the Lord and walk in his ways (Ps128:1).” PREAMBLE: IF God ANSWERS all our prayers, there would be Chaos and Anarchy. However, there is God’s hand in whatever happens to us (Is49:16). Always wait on the Lord (Is49:23b) Tobit, Tobias and Sarah. Sequel to the Readings of few days now, we see how God allowed Tobit (the Father of Tobias), an Upright and Pious Man to be afflicted even with ridicules, calumny and blindness; and Rachael (Tobias’ wife) was possessed by Asmodeus demon who had hindered & already killed her Seven Husband before Tobias. Yet, we see the unflinching FAITH of Tobias (with the help of Angel Raphael) that caused the Healing of his Father (Tobit) and the Deliverance of his wife (Sarah) amidst all the human facts and barriers as advanced by Azarias (Sarah’s father). Even though, both (Tobit & Sarah) had prayed earlier that God should take their lives, God, in His infinite mercy answered them in his own way – in accordance to His Holy Will. “For the FOOLISNESS OF GOD IS WISER THAN THE WISDOM OF MEN” (1Cor1:25). And “Nothing is impossible to God” (Gen18:14; Lk1:37), God can do all things.” And For out of an Impossible or Bad situations can come out something Possible & Good – only is you seek,wait and believe in Him. He say, “Seek ye the Kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you”(Lk 12:31). In the Gospel (Mk 12:31-34), Jesus tells us that it is only Agape Love (of God and Neighbours, Mk12:30-31) that drives and makes Prayer efficacious. Having Loved God, Love now moves us to pray unto God for our neighbours (Just as Tobias did). And Love counts no fault. It is TOLERATIVE and Sacred. Tobias’ Love over Sarah moves him to trust & see beyond her limitations. The Father-in-law was saying the fact (that she is possessed & cannot MARRY again) while Tobias was seeing the Truth [that despite her ANTECEDENTS, God did not create her so – God Wills in Gen1:26 that a Man (he, Tobias) will Marry her]. His Love over her ushered him into Prayer, coupled with the help of the Angel & Sarah was EXORCISED of Asmodeus Demon. You too can do the same in whatever SITUATION you are in now, if you trust. Prayer changes all situations. When marriages are Rooted in Prayer, Love and Tolerance, then there is nothing to Fear. QUESTION: Child of God, What is it that bothers you – your problems? How are you handling your own situation or problems? Do you allow it to overwhelm you? Or Do you entreat it with the Lord, like Tobit? Do you Love God with your whole being and Neighbours as yourself? How do you treat your wife, your Husband, your family? Do you treat them with disdain and hatred? How are you handling your Spouse’s limitations? What is your own limitation? Are you tolerant? Is your Family rooted in Love and Prayer? (cf.Gen42:19-22). PROBLEMS: My Dear, I may not know the Situation you are facing right NOW, but I know that it has not defied solution. Perhaps, you have been struggling with your Marriage (broken or about to); or many Suitors have come and gone; or many Ladies have disappointed you. Maybe it is SPELL or JINX – your family do not get Married quickly; somebody tied your destiny or your Womb; you are possessed by spiritual wife or husband (Asmodeus Demons, Marine spirits, Witches & Wizards). Maybe it is BARRENESS – you are married for years, healthy but without Children; or you are pregnant with several complications or; somebody is behind your late realization of good things in your life; or your Business is not just moving fine. You will go for interview, but not employed, or employed but sacked with little or no reasons; or your Job is shaking, no Appointment or Promotion. Maybe, it is FAILURE Yoke – as you have struggled, studied and taken that External or Professional Exams several times without Good Results. It may even be Finishing without Graduation, or Graduation without NYSC. Maybe, it’s difficulty in Visa acquisition or other Travelling related problems. It could be Health related (like Cancer), Rent or Feeding palavers. Maybe, you are Destitute, Orphaned or Widowed. It (problem) has not defied solution. They are only Human FACTS. But, let us hold on to the TRUTH (Divine/ God). The Truth is that God can do ALL THINGS – Nothing is Impossible for God (Gen18:14, Lk1:37). He may allow those Ailments/Problems for a greater Purpose or Good (Ps34:10-19; 50:15). He hasn’t abandoned you. WITH LOVE AND PRAYER, YOU WE SHALL CONQUER! PRAYERS: God is visiting you NOW. You are going to shine – in fact, you are shining Now (Is60:1). Angel Raphael is aiding your problems. Let every Asmodeus demons, Witches and Wizards and Marine Spirits be cast out now by the Consuming Fire of the Holy Spirit, in the Name of Jesus! Every Evil/Strong Man or Woman, and Occult Man & Woman, Evil Perpetrators and Destiny Manipulators be disgraced, silenced, scattered and shattered (and if not repented) be consumed by the Holy Ghost Fire, in Jesus Name! I decree today, that THOSE ailments/ problems you see shall disappeared, dissolved & evaporate. May they be expunged by the Power of the Holy Spirit, in the Mighty Name of Jesus! Amen! God has opened a New & Favourable Page in your life today – your Suitors are coming – your Documents, Interviews and Exams are being Revisited, and your Invitations, Appointment, Promotions & Results Assured, in the Most Powerful, Most Victorious and Mighty Name of Jesus. Amen! Child of God, Begin NOW to Jubilate, Celebrate, Worship and Glorify the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Great Provider, Mighty Healer-Rapha-El, Miracle Worker, Adonai, Ancient of Days, Alpha & Omega….! May Our Mother Mary intercede for us too, through Jesus Christ OUR LORD. Amen! SONG: i.
