REFLECTIONS May This Vote Count! After what is akin to the popular Thug-of-War I finally succeeded at doing my voter registration. It was not one of the most easiest experience anyone will pray for. Thank God however, that unlike what some others experience has been- extortion from the INEC ad-hoc officers, inability to find a voting unit within ones vicinity, among other shenanigans, i finally registered, me myself willingly gave the guys five hundred naira for their own doggedness amidst voters resilience. 2015 is a general election year, an opportunity for Nigerians to retired the many Ojelus that have made the country poorer than we are 15 years ago. This is why we all must vote and stand to protect our vote. We must ensure that while the philosophy of stomach-infrastructure may not be bad altogether, fiscal development that will allow for economic growth and development in our country must be the manifesto that directs our vote. Meanwhile, those ad-hoc guys working for INEC can do with some etiquette. I daresay that it is too much a national duty to stand under the scorching sun for several hours being continually abuse by some of these uncultured fellow.
