REISSUE “Christmas Medley ‘84” by Bonnie Forman - Disco Video Mix by Glenn Rivera Bonnie Forman was an underground high-energy artist of the early 80’s - her first single “Walk Away” gave her deep and raw vocals an arena for dance floors and later to be produced by Bobby Orlando. Her singles, “I Want A Man” and her cover of “I Only Have Eyes For You” received quite a bit of play during the high energy transition in the mid-80’s. Her vocal on Bobby Orlando’s “Christmas Medley ‘84” are harsh, but perfect for this wicked Disco Video Mix -a little out of the ordinary and not quite the Christmas greeting you are familiar with. I have taken the 1974 horror film “Black Christmas” and used some of the terrifying visuals to create a strange, but somehow connected mix. The films stars Olivia Hussey, Kier Dullea and Margot Kidder. It was directed by Bob Clark (“Porky’s) and is a cult horror-film favorite. This combo is perhaps sinister and odd - but there are always those moments - and they are meant in my sometimes warped humor. Featuring scenes from “Black Christmas” - RENT THE DVD!
