REJECTED BY LIONS AS A DISH Special Series 1 Prepared by Pastor Charles Chanda; Pretoria, South Africa. This is a special series for those who want to live a life that is precious in the sight of God. Follow this series and you will discover what it takes to be under the divine plan of God. THEY GAVE HIS BODY TO THE LIONS FOR A DISH BUT THE LIONS REJETED THE MENU! Dan 6:16-17 Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee. 17. And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel. Such is the world we live in where the people who stand for their God became the most hated even by those whom they serve faithfully. Look at your church and you will discover that the people who have contributed to the progress of that church will normally be deleted from the book of records and those who know nothing became the nobles. This message is directed to those of you who have served the Lord faithfully but for one reason or the other, nobles have teamed up against you. Thus saith the Lord to you servant of the most High God, the lions will reject to eat you and all those who have risen up against you for no cause will be the preferred menu for those hungry lions in Jesus Name. MARKS OF A HUNTED LIFE THAT CAN NEVER BE EATEN! Daniel was among those that are hunted. Does it not surprise you that Judas Iscariot will normally be more loved by the outside world than Peter and John. If not carefully considered Peter and John may think twice of their devotion to Christ. I will show you the marks of a hunted life that can never be eaten and this will explain why despite all the hatred around you, you are still going on strong. Dan 6:4-7 Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him. 5. Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel, except we find it against him concerning the law of his God. 6. Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever. 7. All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any God or man for thirty days, save of thee, O king, he shall be cast into the den of lions. Prayer was the part of law of Daniel’s God which he took so serious and he prayed three times a day. This was prayer that was born out of a faithful and righteous heart. God honors such prayers and people who are given to such a devoted prayer life can never be eaten by any lion no matter how hungry they may be. This is a life of prayer in the life of the forgiven and forgiving. Look at the church people of today including preachers who are enemies with almost everyone in and out of the church. Pastor do you realize that you have offended people with the way you have used church money and yet you do not care. Church projects that have attracted so much offerings from your congregation have not been started nor finished. The lions will not spare you if you do not repent. You are leading an angry congregation and that is why you cannot see the power of God any more. Yes your church may be having whole night prayers and weekly programmes but these have just became traditions as God is not involved in them. This is why your members will come to church sick and go back the same way despite your charismatic preaching. Repent and do the first works. The God of Daniel never changes. I remember in my church when I was just a new convert, we prayed than no man’s business. I was made the leader of the prayer warriors and started leading morning prayers everyday from 6am to 7am. We experienced a great revival and many souls were converted and added to the church. Evil spirits were manifesting when people came near the church and they would bring them in the church office for prayers. The God of Daniel worked mightily with us. Today you will wonder how a person with evil spirits will attend church the whole year and participate in church programmes without those evil spirits being cast out. God help us. My question to you child of God is “Do you pray?”. I am not talking about reciting the Lord’s prayer or reading a prayer from a book but do you commune with God. When last did God speak to you? If God does speak to you, why are you still keeping a boy/girl friend and the two of you are busy in fornication? How can God keep quiet about sin? The people that are hunted are those who are righteous and faithful like Daniel IS YOUR LIFE FAULTLESS Dan 6:4-5 Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him. 5.
