RELEASEYUSUF: IS THE SSS BECOMING THE ENEMY OF THE NIGERIAN YOUTHS! In recent times, the Nigeria State Security Service has taken a position which portrays the agency in bad light. The Nigeria Police force was the most hated agency as a result of poor attitudes and bad behaviors of individuals working for the force. During the Fuel Subsidy protest, the SSS was involved in the harassment, intimidation and unlawful arrest of Nigerians. It may be recalled that the members of Nigerian youth that formed the occupy Nigeria movement against the increase of Petroleum pump price that first occupied the Federal Secretariat were attacked twice in that same night. We were harassed, beaten and robbed. We lost our computers, phones and public address systems including our generator set. Many of us were injured and the attack was carried out after the infiltration of men of SSS among us. We were aware and knew about their presence in our mist but, because we meant no harm rather than a protest, we felt there was no cause for alarm. Again, we changed the venue of the occupy ground from National Secretariat to ASCON Filling Station by the Chicken House junction in Wuse 2. On this fateful Night when almost 200 youth were occupying the ground, some were sleeping and others were chanting the National Anthem and Pledge, a combine team of security personnels launched an attack on us, they used batons, electric teasers and gun butts on the sleeping youths, they injured many of us including (they concluded that IG Wala the writer was dead). We lost almost all we had because many of us ran away for their lives. The funniest part of it, when the matter was reported by the NBA to all agencies including the Military, the SSS denied any knowledge of the attack and claimed not to be aware of it. It was glaring that the most of the officers that led the team were the SSS men from the Office of the CSO to the President. Again, that same attack took place after the infiltration of the SSS men who were at the ground with us at the point of the attack. We know almost all of them, because they have this stupid way of asking some stupid and silly questions like, who are the organizers and where are the leaders? Also, during the National Mourning of the Students of Buni Yadi as organized by Nigeria Women Groups, a lady was approached the crowd and demanded to know the organizers and stupidly she claimed to be a Journalist from AIT not knowing that the lady she was asking is a staff of AIT. The real AIT staff suspected her and asked her to present her ID, she could not. We involved the Police and we had to call the SSS Office in FCT and they pleaded on her behalf, even though she stupidly blew her cover. Before I forget, the SSS are at the center of the APO KILLINGS of the Northern boys that were falsely tagged as Boko Haram Members, the recent report released by the National Human Right Commission says it all. Nigerians are not happy with such disservice to the nation. If the agency is frustrated as a result of poor leadership, it is not the fault of the younger generations that are concerned about their future. Let me reiterate that we are not fools, we not criminals, we are patriotic Nigerians, we are intelligent enough to work with any of these agencies that are harassing us, intimidating us and manhandling us in the manners they do. We have never in any given situation engage in any physical fight with any of the member of the operatives. How comes Nigerian youths and members of the civil society groups are being treated like criminals? We have in various time honored your invitations, comply to your terms and restrictions even when we know it is our right to refuse yet, you keep pushing us to the wall. NOW ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. We have endured all the harassment and intimidation. Why coming in with illegal abduction or kidnap of one of the Nigerian youths? WHERE IS YUSUF SIYAKA ONIMISI? Why was he abducted? IS CITIZEN JOURNALISM A CRIME? IS THE RUMOR GOING ROUND ABOUT SSS KILLED HIM, TRUE? You cant achieve your work without the support of the people, you are doing your job in the interest of the people and the nation. STOP KILLING US, STOP ABDUCTING US AND DO NOT HARASS PATRIOTS! On this note, we wish to call on the SSS and the Nigeria authority to quickly release this innocent citizen or release information on how he was executed unlawfully within 48hrs, failure to do so, the entire Nigerians will be mobilize to occupy all SSS offices across the states and FCT. We will also make available pictures and details of all the men and women of the SSS that have been infiltrating us in our struggle for better Nigeria. WE ARE AWARE OF HOW THE LEVEL OF COMPLICITY OF THE TOP SSS OFFICERS ON THE ONGOING INSECURITY CRISIS IN THE NORTH. WHAT HAPPENED TO A REPORT THAT REVEALED HOW THE CRIMINALS IN THE FOREST AREAS ARE BEING SUPPORTED WITH AMMUNITION AND FOOD BY THE AID OF HELICOPTER, THE SSS AT THE TOP FOR THEIR PERSONAL INTEREST SABOTAGE THE REPORT BY DEMANDING FOR PICTORIAL EVIDENCE. HABA!
