RELIGION AND POLITICS There is no harming in mixing religion and politics for good. The problem in India is that politicians un-necessarily misused it. Religions have brought the first and foremost model of community administration. It defined social institutions like family and solemnized married relations.The functions of child birth were made as great celebrations and contribution to the society by religion. Religion taught us to be selfless. Religion taught us the art of punishing the guilty. But there was a time when crimes went out of control.Peoples behavior worsened. No one was patient to wait enough to see divine action on the culprit. And slowly the concept of state came into being. In countries with a single religion, the mixture of religion and politics was simple and easy. Where there was honest politicians, the idea of pluralism was tolerated and secularism was adopted. In India the problem is - CORRUPT SELFISH CRIMINAL NOTORIOUS Politicians.
