REMEMBER DECEMBER 1st is WORLD AIDS DAY: We are still in the midst of a pandemic. I cannot believe that this year marks my 30th year studying HIV/AIDS. I started as a little 17 year old in 1984 @ Brigham and Womens Hospital/Harvard Medical School and University Hospital/Boston University School of Medicine before there was an HIV Antibody Test in 1985. When I moved to New York City to study @ Columbia Medical Center in 1988...few gay men saw the age of 47. Now it is really considered a chronic disease, but we cannot be complacent.
