REMEMBER THE REAL REASON FOR WHICH CELEBRATES March 8. March 8 is International Womens Day ... and I find it disgusting celebrate local strip club or whatever. And .. , if anything, a day of commemoration of remembrance and reflection. Whether you commemorate March 8 International Womens Day , it is a known fact , but the reason for this celebration, not everyone is aware of. The significance of Womens Day has historical roots , memorable . Despite being almost become a celebration of consumerism , Womens Day happened to keep a real , painful and significant. History: In 1908 , New York , 129 workers in the textile industry Cotton went on strike to protest the terrible conditions in which they were forced to work. The rebellion lasted for several days until , on March 8 , the owner Mr. Johnson blocked all the doors of the factory to prevent workers leaving the factory . There was an arson and 129 workers trapped inside the factory burned by the flames . Since then, March 8 has been proposed as an international day of struggle in favor of women. The commemoration , all-American , to the victims was then accepted throughout the world as the symbol of female liberation day . The initiative to celebrate International Womens Day was made for the first time in 1910 by Clara Zetkin in Copenhagen during the International Conference of Socialist Women .
