REMEMBER, we cant take anything we have accumulated here with us. Matthew 19:24 says, It is more difficult for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven than for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle. This illustration was given to demonstrate how easy it is to become attached to riches. Wealth can be a sign of Gods blessing on our lives. It is the pursuit of riches that leads to compromise. The safest way to avoid greed is to become a giver, so give generously. There are three major reasons God grants wealth to individuals: 1. As a testimony of faithful living 2. As a blessing or reward. 3. To bless others The last of these is the most important. It is impossible to out-give the blessings of God. The more you give, the more you can be trusted with. In this way you are Gods instrument to invest in the lives of others, and become a valuable resources to fund the work of the Kingdom of God.
