REMINDER: Indo-caribbean FOLKS, we need your help... TONIGHT AT 7PM Fwd: QueensWay Ozone Park Workshops! Wed Nov 20th, 7PM Folks: We need you show up at the Ozone Park workshop for The Queensway. I went to the first workshop last Wednesday in Woodhaven and there were ONLY TWO brown people there, myself included, shocking! So I need you folks to come out and participate in the workshop, which is designed to gather feedback from everyone present. What would you like to see from this new 3 1/2 mile Linear Park, Kids activities? food carts? music/concerts? Art? a bike path? Tassa drumming classes? There will be media, all the orgs that are working on this including Trust for Public Lands and folks from Friends of the Queensway. So we need a contingent from the Indo-Caribbean Community to show up and lend there voice.
