RENEWED MIND – Repentance deals with a change of attitude that occurs in our mind and the way we think. Romans 12:1-2 speaks about the renewing of our mind. The Bible tells us that God does this through the Holy Spirit; it is not a self-help mechanism. This renewing is always for the better and helps us to receive what the Lord has for us. Humility is a good thing but not an excuse to live below all that God has promised. The Lord has great things for you, your family, and for those around you. Stop looking at what you don’t have and begin to look at all God says you can have. This is how a renewed mind works and functions. Allow God to help you think the right way, to receive the right things, so you may live the right way: victorious, blessed, and walking in his power and anointing. WILLING MIND – 2 Corinthians 8:12 says a willing mind is one that is zealous, eager, and ready for whatever the Lord wants to do. God is not looking for the smartest, the richest, or the most talented. He is looking for someone who is willing to do what He wants done! I promise you that a willing mind qualifies you for any position in the kingdom. God can bless, perform miracles, and pour out His Spirit when you are willing! Don’t worry about your past, your failures, or any lack you have. Trust God, love His word, listen to His voice, and be willing to move as He moves. Life can be exciting, fun, and fulfilling for those who have a willing mind. God can give this to you! SOUND MIND – God does not want us to walk in fear and be afraid. 2 Timothy 1:7 says He has given us power, love, and a sound mind. The term “sound” literally means to experience and live in self-control. At first, I admit that this doesn’t excite me until I realize what God is telling me. He is saying that He has a plan for everything I need. The secret is that I can’t get in a hurry or lag behind as the process works in my life. Romans 8 tells you that, ultimately, all things are working for your good. If God has given you a sound mind, you will not worry or be afraid because you know God will not fail. Only God can give this to you, and in fact, He already has. All you have to do now is walk it out by faith. That’s how Jesus lived and where we are to follow Him. I promise you that as you follow Jesus, living with a sound mind, you will never be disappointed.
