REPASSANDO São Paulo Sales Executive (Freight Forwarding) Damco - São Paulo e Região, Brasil Descrição da vaga Purpose & General responsibilities of the position: The Sales Executive will be responsible for developing and maintaining good long term relations to customers and key commercial stakeholders and to develop and execute sales plans achieving stated objectives in regards to revenue, profitability and sales process. The Sales Executive will be part of a best in class sales team that will ensure that Damco become a well known and respected Freight Forwarder in the state of São Paulo. Grow Damco’s market share in the state of São Paulo. Build up mutual market knowledge and sales strategy Be responsible for the sales targets to be set up by country sales organization. Develop new customer and big accounts; up sell and cross sell to existing customer Manage own sales agenda and reach weekly target of visits to be set along with country sales organization. Specific responsibilities of the position Organization Be the level of escalation point for the customers in São Paulo. Customer & Sales Develop new customers as per Damco’s customer classification Matrix Maintain existing customers in the lane – up sell and cross sell Pricing & Buying Participate with local and overseas tender and pricing department on key tenders and propose pricing guidelines and strategic margin policies. Participate in carrier management, maintaining good relationships along with pricing team – especially with core carriers in the lane. Strategy & Budget setting Set KPI’s on market growth, growth in CM1, volume and large accounts Evaluate sales successes and failures to optimize efforts and prevent recurrence Measurement / success criteria of the position Growth in contribution margin – CM1 (Gross profit) Growth in volumes (number of files/tonnage/teus/cbm) Growth in market share Growth in new and big accounts Growth in existing business (cross selling up selling) Learning opportunities in the position Commercial awareness Complexity of matching client needs with flexible services Networking ability with senior management Financial analysis Project planning including trade business plans and pricing Competências e experiências desejadas Specific requirements for the position Experience in Sales Freight forwarding experience Good knowledge of the São Paulo market. Strong track record of selling and winning Fluent English (spoken and written) Industry recognized professional with established account relationship.
