*REPOST* Phrases I will no longer use in my Israel advocacy: 1. Israel is not perfect. (Who the hell is?) 2. Israel has the right to exist. (What other nation gets up and says this every morning?) 3. Israel has the right to defend itself. (Don’t need your permission. Didn’t ask for it either.) 4. Israel has the right to live in peace. (As opposed to what, live in terror?) 5. Israel is not an apartheid state. (This statement will be replied to thusly: No, it is not. Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Gaza, the West Bank, Turkey, Sudan...are apartheid states. #ZionStandUp
