REPOSTED From AST Official Facebook Page: The DPS Caravan with Sergeant Johnson, Trooper Rich and two escorts on board will depart Anchorage at approximately 3:00 PM, direct to Fairbanks. The Caravan is expected to arrive in Fairbanks at the Alaska Aerofuels “Sadler’s” hangar off of Airport Road at approximately 4:00 PM. A good staging area for media and the public will be anywhere along Airport Way between Pikes Landing and University Avenue. The procession will proceed out from the parking area on to Airport Way and then make a right turn onto University Avenue. The mortuary vehicles will turn into the Fairbanks Funeral Home off of University Avenue while all of the vehicles in the procession will continue past the funeral home along University Avenue deactivating their emergency lights as they pass the funeral home and continue on down University Avenue. These are tentative times and subject to change due to flight delays
