REPOSTING FROM A FEW YEARS BACK: John Arthur Lawrence: December 26, 2011 · Burlington, VT · What would happen if YOUR WORLD were turned upside down... Would you fall UP instead of DOWN, like I do whenever I experience trials and tribulations... the big secret, folks... is what happened just before I was sent by Unkle Sam to Korea... Why do you-all think that I got BAPTIZED by AN ORDAINED SOUTHERN BAPTIST MINISTER who was leading a small Fellowship Group with the title: APOSTOLIC ASSEMBLES OF GOD???!!!... and why do you all think that as a Gay Man and being Civil-Unionized for 8 yrs and now Married to that Man, why Im still putting out all of this spiritual and scriptural stuff and using my own life as an example for the public to see???!!! Part of the BIG SECRET is that I know beyond the shadow of a doubt that Jesus Christ most certainly is the Son of God, and that He is VERY REAL and VERY MUCH ALIVE and active in our lives today... Ive experienced HIS personal revelations in my life, folks - and some experiences are nothing short of MIRACLES... I KNOW that He is JUST AS REAL AS YOU AND I IN FLESH AND BLOOD, FOLKS... And THAT is why whenever I experience a personal tragedy in my life, I GO TO HIM FOR STRENGTH AND ADVICE FIRST... then everything else just falls into place, and small and sometimes great miracles start to happen... sometimes all at once like recently. And believe it or not, I ENJOY IT when Satan decides to attack... because its God allowing it, because He knows that he has already prepared me ahead of time, and that I am well up to the task. The Holy Spirit in May of 1991, shared a prophecy for me to send out to the North Hero/South Alburg Bible study group about a New Order of Worship with the then South Alburg Methodist Church as its Headquarters, and of course, as some of you know... it came true... 10 YEARS LATER!!! The Methodist Troy Conference attempted to sell off and were going to bulldoze the Church building and property to a developer, but the parishoners stopped it and fought back and actually won custody of the building and actually DID SET UP A NEW ORDER OF WORSHIP... That Church is now called GODS LITTLE BROWN CHURCH, folks... I DO BELIEVE IN MIRACLES, UNDERSTOOD... AND I KNOW THAT GOD IS ON MY SIDE AS LONG AS I FOLLOW HIM AND KEEP HIM IN MY LIFE (God never abandons us, folks... its us who abandon Him and then WE become the lost ones... and prey for the Wolfs in Sheeps Clothing)!!! And as long as I have faith, He gives me strength... sometimes even when I dont know Im gonna need it. Btw... God cares most about how we TREAT OTHERS, not about if we are Gay or Straight, or black or white, or disabled or bright or not so bright... no one is exempt from receiving Gods love, folks... not even the one who hurt myself and my partner so much... God still loves him too... Jesus shed his blood for all of us, folks, no matter what weve done... we just need to open our hearts, ask forgiveness and accept that Gift of Love - of the Sacrifice of God in order that we might be Saved and not live in Darkness, slaves to evil temptations such as hatred, jealousy, possessiveness, control, gossip and backbiting and such... So go to sleep tonight and just open up your hearts, my friends and have a little chat with the ONE who knows you better than yourself... for He created you so that you could be His friend forever. (...Someone asked me about a year ago, if I had lived in the Soviet Union before its demise, if I wouldve been willing to go to prison for my Christian Faith, and preaching the Gospel... well, heres your answer...[it takes BALLS to be a TRUE CHRISTIAN, folks]...{;~}>...!!!)
