REPOSTING: For the past six months the texts I sent to Sprint and Verizon customers in the U.S. were not being received (ever). I repeatedly called Ooredoo for assistance but they were useless, to say the least. Vodafone (!!!) finally came to my aid and we were able to determine that Ooredoo likely does not have terminating carrier contracts with Sprint and Verizon, which is why the messages are not being delivered - but you are still being charged for them. In the U.S. this would be a HUGE issue with regulatory bodies, and its just plain fraudulent for them to not disclose this. I have filed a formal complaint with ictQATAR and Im Tweeting as @dohamums. If you are on Twitter get on and join the party - and give us some retweets and favorites to put the pressure on Ooredoo to properly represent their services. Thanks!
