REPUBLIC OF CYPRUS AND IHRC AGREED TO SIGN THE DIPLOMATIC RELATIONS AGREEMENT.............IHRC EMBASSY AT CYPRUS. PRESS NOTE: IHRC Chief Ambassador-Shahid Amin Khan today hold detailed meetings at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus at Nicosia. He was warmly received by the Excellency Dr. Spyros Attas, Minister Plenipotentiary Head of Multilateral Relations and International Organizations Department of the Political Affairs Division on his arrival at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. IHRC Chief Amb Dr-Shahid Amin Khan and Dr. Spyros discussed the situation on Middle East and Syria, they also agreed in principle to sign the full diplomatic Relations agreement between the IHRC and Republic of Cyprus in the next visit of IHRC Chief. Minister Dr. Spyros appreciated the IHRC contribution for upholding the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and assured full cooperation towards the IHRC initiative towards protection of Human Rights and Peace efforts. IHRC Chief handed over the IHRC "Instrument of Accession" to Minister for signatures and assured him IHRC support to the Republic of Cyprus to handle the economic and political crises in Cyprus. Both agreed that IHRC Chief and Minister of Foreign Affairs will meet next month to sign the Diplomatic Relations and accredited the Ambassador Elie G.
