Lucy Newport - Has anyone a photo of The Beaufort Arms that was in Nelson Street my great grandfather John Williams was landlord there until his death in 1884, before that he was the last publican of The Blue Bowl in Duck Lane I would be very grateful if you can help with this request. 2. Steve Long - Have no photos and a bit off track, but was a whale ever displayed on the downs in the 50s? 3. Sineadin Mckenna - I worked at Joseph Lucas on Bath Road, Brislington when I was young. I know it is gone now as I did Google earth but was wondering if anyone had any info on it. Also I worked at The Clock Shop in downtown Bristol...any info on that? I am a senior in Canada now and just am curious to know a few things from ages past...thanks. 4. Joe Jennings - Hi Everyone, Just wondering if anyone has any pictures of the old cinema/bingo hall at filwood broadway? Been told lots of history about it but no pictures shamefully. I have worked there many years and now the station is relocating to Croydon st, Lawrence hill next month. Would love to see any pics you may have, no idea what the developers will do with the site, would not be surprised if they pulled it down. 6. Shaun Winstone - any info about the Gaint Goram Fair AT Blaise Castle in the early 60s 7. Paul Filer - Does anyone have any old photos of Narrow Plain from 1900- 1940 possibly of the Spread Eagle pub and shops around it 8. Carolyn Johnson - Hi, can anyone help, Im looking for any photos of Days Road, Barton Hill, my mum lived there when she was little, she was born in 1947, she lived at the end of the road with the houses that had little front gardens. We can find public images of the other end of the road but not this end. Can anyone help? Thank you. 9. Nicola Shears - Any chance anyone got any pictures of providence place Bedminster I know its no longer here but have been searching everywhere 10. Charles Fenn - OK I have a request if i may. The old Good Intent pub in Broomhill Road Brislington Bristol BS4 4SA. Is it still going? do they still take special guests into the cellar to see if the fish is there?
