REVIEW #2 - INTO THE WOODS Into the Woods brings four fairy tales together and puts them into one exciting musical. Having Rapunzel and Cinderella in it, Disney should have known what they were doing with them, which they did. The Rapunzel scenes seemed somewhat inspired by the previous movie done by Disney, like the hook used to hoist someone up. Disney having the experience between these two princesses, did the job well. It was interesting to see how Jack played into the plot, acting as a cause for the giant to attack, as well as the baker (Who is for some reason unnamed) for having the seeds. Everything in the plot worked its way into place, and saying this because major plot changes were made between the original story and the movie, and it still managed to maintain great. The music at the beginning was very well suited for that portion of the movie, as well as the scene where Cinderella was stuck in the tar, but the rest of the movie seemed a bit overdone with the music. There was not much change in the music used in the songs. That, along with the lack of an epilogue was kind of disappointing. The movie, though lacking in unique music and an ending to what had happened after the baker took in Little Red, Jack and Cinderella, managed to make up for it in its plot and story, along with the twist that everything was going to work out, when it was just halfway. According to me, Into The Woods deserves a 6.9, for the areas where it did fall short, but also the areas where it did do great. - GJ Check out the trailer below https://youtube/watch?v=L6Yz5BRMGIQ
