REVIEW OF PCSPECIALIST This is not directly related to gaming but I know that alot of you are interested in getting gaming computers but not necessarily building them yourselves, now as much as we advise against buying prebuillds we are aware that there are some people that still do, so I, having just received my laptop that I have purchased from them 8 days ago would like to let all of you know the point of view of a customer of theirs. Service- Service is outstanding, the build log tells you exactly what part your pc is at and gives you a roadmap of what is to come. The courier that they use (DPD) were fantastic texting me telling me what day my parcel would be arriving then telling me the time at which the parcel would arrive to within an hour. Speed- I got my latpop within 8 days, this true for 25.6% of laptops they have shipped within the last 5 days so I was on the shorter end of waiting time so I guess here if you strike lucky and get the same kind of time as I did its great if you dont then its not quite as good Packaging- Clearly marked with fragile tape, as aforementioned courier was fantastic and packaged main box within box. Inside laptop box it is suspended by reasonable foam and inside the main box the whole thing is suspended by tight air pockets which are quite firm and dont seem to have much give. This isnt to much of a problem however Quality of the laptop- Now this will vary from product to product and keeping in mind the price point of these laptops I was impressed with the build. Its all plastic, as i expected but there is very little flex, the hinges seem fine and the keyboard is nice and clicky but there are still the odd creaks now and then but that is to be expected. Summary/TD;DR- Pc specialist seem to be a good quality honest company for the price that you pay. I wouldnt give them full marks but Id give them a solid 9/10 overall. :)
