Finding Parker by Scott Hildreth US Link: amzn.to/1xo9TbU UK Link: amzn.to/1xiNWde ______________________________________________________ ~SYNOPSIS~ We have all heard it before. From a mother, father, friend or maybe a complete stranger. “If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. But what if it wasn’t? Parker Bale finds himself in this exact predicament. A gentlemen with a very unique past, Parker completed college and is on the hunt for a job. Almost immediately he is offered the career of a lifetime. His new assignment? Find a woman to love. His boss? Kenton Ward - a self-made millionaire with a strange desire to witness a love he never had an opportunity to experience. One small catch...Parker must sign a contract with Kenton, binding him to conditions of the search for a woman. Eagerly, he signs the document without reading the legal language. Victoria Fisker doesn’t trust people, has no faith in the male species and lives a quiet life keeping to herself and caring for her narcotic addicted mother. Can they look beyond their sordid pasts? Can Parker fall in love under the scrutiny of an employment contract? Can Victoria learn to trust? The love depicted in Finding Parker is not simply read, it is experienced. After reading this novel, you will without a doubt view love differently…and question the life you have been living. “I wanted to resist, allowing the night to go on forever. As we walked along the beach, I pressed my feet into the sand firmly, leaving an impression deep enough to last a lifetime. And I did not look back...” ADD TO GOODREADS: bit.ly/1AMhCV4 _____________________________________________________ ~REVIEW~ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have a confession to make: I judged this book by its cover. But its okay, it worked out just fine as the gorgeous man on the front had a beautiful heartfelt story to tell and I was intrigued from the first chapter. Parker signs a contract to court women...and get paid! His employer Kenton, is trying to rewrite his wrongs in life and live vicariously through Parker. What an interesting concept. Kenton: a strangely lovable character. He is quirky and rich and generous and I fell oddly in love with him and his wise words: You should live everyday....as if you are going to die at midnight. Imperfectly perfect Victoria is not a risk taker and has sworn off men for MANY reasons but then Parker finds her. She makes him weak and he makes her strong. Yin and yang. Perfect fit. This story not only hooked me from the start but surprised me along the way, right through to the very last page. This was more than a love story and an interesting plot line, it may be the most highlighted book on my kindle! Such awesome concepts about life and the journey. (Side note: this was a perfect time in my life to read such thought provoking words.) The greatest rewards in life are provided to those who take the greatest risks. Even if or when we choose to do nothing, the clock continues to tick. 4 (fearless) stars from me Krissy ______________________________________________________ ~AUTHOR BIO~ ❤ Scott Hildreth was born in San Diego, California and now resides in Wichita, Kansas.
