REVISITING THE BENIN AIRPORT ________________________________________________ PROBLEM: The Benin airport has NO REDUCED VISIBILITY LANDING FACILITY. ________________________________________________ SOLUTION: Reduced visibility landing facility is comprised of three CRUCIAL components; (the order listed below, tallies with the pictures attached) 1. Runway lights 2. Localizer 3. Glide slope NOTE: We may need an aviation professional to explain where necessary... However I can tell you guys that if the Benin Airport has these facilities, we are ready recieve flights at night, early morning as well as bad weather conditions such as rain, fog etc. ________________________________________________ BENEFIT: This will boost FDI-Foreign direct investment, and in turn tremenduosly create jobs--->Right from the airport itself! Diasporans will eventually be able to arrive Benin City THE SAME DAY they travel from their respective countries (via Lagos connecting local airlines like Arik, Aerocontractors etc), hence saving the huge costs of staying overnight in Lagos...(If you own hotels in Edo State this should definitely interest you too!) It will eventually open Benin City and Edo State to the world, promote tourism... And Oh!! tourism is so powerful that it partly sustains a whole country like spain, adding a whooping 6.4% to the countrys GDP approx $81 BILLION DOLLARS--->Approx. Nigerias oil revenue! Lets take a little break from our PDP Vs APC mumbo-jumbos, come together and resolve this problem... Long Live Edo State!!!
