The Staff even assembled EXTRA TABLES to Accommodate The Crowd, on the Guest list quite a few of our areas finest Musicians, all coming out to support this FUN LOVING DUO,Thats the Kinda Folks I want to be in the Company of ! After Setting up their equipment Ricky and Harv Separated, greeting the sea of Friends One by One.... soon enough ... 6:30 ...SHOW TIME! Starting off Strong with Some Fantastic Tunes from the early 70s .... Eagles; PEACEFUL EASY FEELING .....Americas; SISTER GOLDEN HAIR.... Hall & Oates; SARAH SMILE .... Satanas; EVIL WAYS each and every Song a Crowd Pleaser, each Tunes end met with a ROAR of Applause! ..... around this time I finally got my much coveted Front Row Seat less than 5ft. from the Stage ..... perfect timing, as Rickys Ibanez Guitar Rang out the first Chords to Grand Funks 1970 Smash Hit CLOSER TO HOME! Great sound Guys! .... Sticking with the Heavy~Hitters They Tore it Up with Jethro Tulls; LOCOMOTIVE BREATH before kikin it back a notch with Bill Withers; AINT NO SUNSHINE WHEN SHES GONE.... then the Classic IVs 68 Hit; SPOOKY..... then Harvey picked up his SAXOPHONE and Drew the Crowd into Party Mode Blowin the Sax Skillfully through The Champs; TAQUILA ..... the Audience adding the Punctuation on the enthusiastic Chorus ..each time yelling out.. TAQUILA! Harv next took on Lead Vocal Duties with Bob Segers; TURN THE PAGE..... then they did just that turning the Music book back to The Beatles,Abbey Road, HERE COMES THE SUN!.... then back to 1957 with The Everly Brothers; WAKE UP LITTLE SUZY.... then way,Way,WAY BACK... performing DREAM A LITTLE DREAM.... the earliest recording I know of this song is Ozzy Nelson from 1931! .... but a loveable tune like this has been covered by Louis Armstrong, Mama Cass, Michael Buble and DOZONS MORE! ...... Tom Pettys; BREAKDOWN ....C.C.R.s; PROUD MARY Both sounding Great! ...... Next a Little AUDIENCE PARTICAPATION..... this is when you will find the Artists RICKY & HARV working in their TRUE MEDIUM! .....Harv gathered up ALL The WOMAN in McGUIGANS ... Brought them to the Stage area as RICKY Plucked away at the Guitar Riff from the 1958 Johnny Otis Party Favorite WILLIE and the HAND JIVE! ... Then Harv proceeded to Teach all in Attendance the Moves of The Hand Jive ..... Great Fun! .... and EVERYONE WAS ONBOARD! Hands Flying through the Motions and with each Passage Ricky would speed it up.... Faster,Faster,Faster Yet! Imagine The Entire floor packed Harv Leading the Woman Through these moves! Great Fun! .... and these Two Talented Entertainers just Kept it Comin HOW MANY OTHER PEOPLE WERE HEARING A LIVE PERFORMANCE OF THE PLAYMATES 58 Novelty Hit BEEP~BEEP! The Little Nash Rambler! ......The Evening Flew by .... I was So Caught up in the Evening I ALMOST MISSED ORDERING DINNER!(wow, that dont happen!) I asked my Bartender Todd for a menu and quickly decided on McGuigans YUENGLING BEER BATTERED FRESH HADDOCK!..... Which was Sitting in front of Me inna FLASH..... along with a Mountain of Crispy Fresh Cut Fries! ..... DE~LIC~IOUS! Nothing like Fresh Fish~n~Chips For Me! The Tunes Kept the Place Hoppin right to The End!...... ID REALLY LOVE TO SEE YOU TONIGHT..... STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN.....SANDMAN.....Del Shannons; RUNAWAY Expertly Segued into Johnnie Rays WALKIN IN THE RAIN.... and as an Oncor ..... RUNAROUND SUE! .... Dion would have been Plenty Proud.... IT BROUGHT THE HOUSE DOWN! A Very spirited end to a Magical evening! ..... Everyones Head Boppin to the Beat.... Witty banter as only well versed Entertainers can pull off! Great Musicianship, Coupled with a TIMELESS SONGBOOK! And The One Striking thing that sticks with You about a RICKY & HARV SHOW is Their Friendship .....
