RIDERS ON THE STORM (Take off your house slippers) No life comes without a few up and a few downs. One way or another, we are all subject to the whim of the wind. When I sit down to write, I put myself in Mac Deverreauxs shoes, both in Beyond Fear and in The Empire Builder. Mac is never bored. Mac is never idle. Mac is never shy of risk. Whether its landing at the Lukla -Tenzing airport in Nepal, or looking for his friend Jack, in the jungles of Nicaragua, Mac knows that he cannot beat the hand of fate, but he does know that hed rather be one of the Riders on the Storm, than to die wearing house slippers. - MDP HAPPY NEW YEAR ...LETS DO IT!
