RIP Casper!!! More than 13 years ago we drove several hours to pick up a 6 week old white Boxer puppy. He was the most handsome dog we had ever seen!! He turned into a wonderful playmate, companion, protector, and seat warmer who asked for nothing, expected nothing, and never complained! For all those years he was a care free, easy going companion who only loved those around him. Not the brightest, but without a doubt, the most loving dog ever. To trust an animal to sit with your children and they poke and prod him playing, having no fear he will do nothing but lick them, is no small feat. Casper loved everyone, but no one more than his Mommy, Stacey, who he followed EVERYWHERE. Even towards the end when he took several minutes getting up the stairs, he would make his way to be with her if she just went up to get something out of the bedroom. I always knew where she was by where he was heading!! We will miss you Old Man. We will miss you, but we will never forget you!!!
