RIP, Irene Fernandez. I had the privilege of listening to this beautiful lady speak on my first visit to Malaysia. Although our meeting was far too short, she certainly had an impact on me. She was feisty and fought for what she believed in. I just read that she had passed and the world has certainly lost one lady who fought for change within Malaysia, in particular, for the rights of the migrant worker. RIP Irene, may you live on in those who continue your fight for change. I dont think the current government will change, they are far too corrupt. Irene Fernandez November 4 2012
