RIP Lou, Bpt Frame SNETJOHNSON, LOUIS R. Louis R. Johnson, age 65 of Stratford entered into eternal rest Wednesday, March 26, 2014 surrounded by his loving family. Born in Stratford to the late Harrison and Mattie Semedo Johnson, Louis was a graduate of Warren Harding High School. He entered the U.S. Marine Corps and was honorably discharged after serving during the Vietnam Conflict. Louis became a member of the Colonel Charles Young American Legion Post #140 and New Era Lodge #290 I.B.P.O.E. of W. In addition to his parents, two brothers, Arnold and Harrison Johnson and a sister Patricia Johnson predeceased him. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Shirley Geyer Johnson of Stratford; five sons, Louis Johnson, Jr. of VA, Shawn Johnson of FL, Deon Hardison of Bridgeport, Burnest Geyer of Hamden and Edward Geyer of Stratford; a daughter, Stacey DaBreo of NY; a brother, Neil Johnson and sister, Denise Johnson both of New Haven; seventeen grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, several nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 31, 2014, 11:00 AM at Mortons Mortuary, Inc., 25 Margaret E. Morton Lane, Bridgeport with Elder Hilda Alston, officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Cemetery. Friends are invited to the viewing Monday from 9:00 - 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
