RIP Mike Lloyd...one of our own Sun Hang Do family in the Coquitlam dojang. He is in the red in the picture. Sadly, Mike passed away in our cities backyard in the Chilliwack river on the weekend. I wasnt super close to Mike but I always watched him in his endless pursuit to be the best martial artist he could be and in doing so was a true inspiration to me and so many people. There is one thing I respect in people and its hard work and I know Mike was the definition of that! To honor Mike, there will be a celebration of his life on Sunday, August 10th at the Coquitlam Dojang from 1:30-3:00pm. In lieu of flowers and gifts, we ask that guests make a contribution to the Epilepsy Society. There will be a donation box at the front desk. We ask that all Sun Hang Do members dress in their highest uniform and that all non-members, family and friends, dress appropriately.
