RIP is useless after all! To some, this is a very noble accronym, It stands for, Rest In Peace! To others, it is not, It stands for, Rise If Possible! Let me say a few things: If said to an unbeliever, If said to a carefree person, Who died, just like all the rest, Even if, said by thousands, It means, Absolutely, NOTHING!! Because, it will achieve NOTHING!!! It will change NOTHING!! If said to a Christian, It does not change anything!! It will achieve, NOTHING!! Resting In Peace, Rising If Possible, Is only applicable, under one condition, Stated by these few verses: Hebrews 9:27 AMP [27] And just as it is appointed for all men once to die, and after that the certain judgment, Revelation 14:13 AMP [13] Then I heard further perceiving the distinct words of a voice from heaven, saying, Write this: Blessed (happy, to be envied) are the dead from now on who die in the Lord! Yes, blessed (happy, to be envied indeed), says the Spirit, in that they may rest from their labors, for their works (deeds) do follow (attend, accompany) them! John 14:6 KJV [6] Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 3:16-18 AMP [16] For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He even gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life. [17] For God did not send the Son into the world in order to judge (to reject, to condemn, to pass sentence on) the world, but that the world might find salvation and be made safe and sound through Him. [18] He who believes in Him who clings to, trusts in, relies on Him is not judged he who trusts in Him never comes up for judgment; for him there is no rejection, no condemnation--he incurs no damnation; but he who does not believe (cleave to, rely on, trust in Him) is judged already he has already been convicted and has already received his sentence because he has not believed in and trusted in the name of the only begotten Son of God. He is condemned for refusing to let his trust rest in Christs name. John 11:25-26 KJV [25] Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: [26] And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this? 1 Timothy 2:5 KJV [5] For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; From these verses alone, we can conclude: 1. Jesus, is the ONLY way to God. 2. All other religious personalities CANNOT offer this, not one of them. 3. NO ONE is exempted. NOT even the unbeliever. 4. NO ONE CAN Rest or Rise, unless they have a Savior, JESUS CHRIST, even if they are buried in a casket, the most expensive one for that matter. 5. Whether you believe that hell and heaven does not exist, it changes NOTHING! 6. No amount of preaching can send a dead person to heaven, for rest or even to raise them up from the dead, to good things, NONE!! 7. No amount of flowers, not even the largest RIP sign, can achieve anything. So, staying away from church is for the dead and dying!! Staying away from a relationship with God, through Christ alone, Is a waste of life!! Preaching against heaven and hell is deception!! The devil knows that both places exist. People do not know and are in danger due to lack of knowledge. 1 Corinthians 1:18 AMP [18] For the story and message of the cross is sheer absurdity and folly to those who are perishing and on their way to PERDITION, but to us who are being saved it is the manifestation of the power of God. (Emphasis: mine) Perdition PERDITION, n. [L. perditio, from perdo, to lose, to ruin.] 1. Entire loss or ruin; utter destruction; as the perdition of the Turkish fleet. [In this sense, the word is now nearly or wholly obsolete.] 2. The utter loss of the soul or of final happiness in a future state; future misery or eternal death. The impenitent sinner is condemned to final perdition. If we reject the truth, we seal our own perdition. 1 Corinthians 1:18 KJV [18] For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
