ROAD CLOSURES Columbia Gas of Massachusetts will be performing utility infrastructure upgrades on the Route 5 southbound ramp to Memorial Avenue (Route 147). The work will require the closure of the southbound ramp from Route 5 to Memorial Drive between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. from Aug. 5 to 9. The ramp will be re-opened to traffic after 3:30 p.m. each day and continue through the overnight hours. The ramp will close again at 7 a.m. Detour routes will be clearly marked and police detail provided throughout the duration of this project. There should be no disruption to weekend traffic.
