ROADSIDE MOMENT Every once and a while something happens to me as Im driving down the road that causes me to realize once again how much I so love the Balinese. In Tabanan city, which I drive through regularly, they are erecting a giant Mosque in a road side location that seems very deliberately planned so that everybody will see it. Not too many Balinese are happy about it. Its not that its a mosque! Its the ostentatious size and location they protest. About 100 meters away, an enterprising Balinese gentleman started a bakso business. This is priceless.
