ROADWORKS - MACQUARIE ST TONIGHT Due to wet weather overnight, we have rescheduled asphalt resurfacing work at Macquarie Street (John Street and George Street intersections) for tonight, weather permitting. The resurfacing will be carried out by milling the existing road pavement and placing layers of asphalt, and is part of our Urban Roads Rehabilitation Program designed to improve and restore the road pavement. To limit the disruption to businesses during the day, it will be necessary for the work to be carried out at night. Work is expected to commence after 6pm. To facilitate the work, it would be appreciated if you would park your vehicle/s off the street and footpath between 5pm and 5am.
