ROCK 101.7 CYPRESS RADIO is the rebeginning of a righteous mission that has been a major life force all my life. I am so awed by the hailstorm of positive feedback. A few comments have come from people that seem to be damaged by anger and hate - probably by the corporate clear channel style b.s. that ruined radio as we knew it. My advise? Get over it. A new day is just daze away Groove Dawgs and from this will come even cooler supernovas. Rick Calvert got the license to serve and rock and this we will do and defend. Cypress is the licensed area but via internet streaming and podcasts ALL YALL will be able to celebrate true free form rock radio...the way it was supposed to be. In the meantime keep up with the comment excitement and donate at cypressradio.org...we need equipment and stuff. WE AND YOU ARE BUILDING A RADIO STATION FROM THE GROUND UP! How many times do you get to say that in a lifetime? For me its a second time every since 101 started up in a storage closet in the Rice Hotel Annex. You know this seems more exciting than ever!
