ROCKETCHIX TRAINING RIDE – SATURDAY, June 28th LOCATION: This Saturday, June 28th, we will begin at BREC’s Farr Park located at 6400 River Road, Baton Rouge, LA 70820. It’s about 2 miles downriver from the LSU Veterinarian School. It has bathroom facilities. After you turn into the park, take a right on the first gravel road you come to and drive past the campers. We will plan to ride on the levee. TIME: The ride will begin at 7:30 am, but you should be there no later than 7:15. This will give you time to inflate your tires, and anything else you may need to do prior to the ride. We will probably ride for about an hour. More experienced riders may want to ride longer than this though, and that will be great. WHAT TO BRING: In addition to your bike, here are the things you will need: • HELMET – DONT FORGET YOUR HELMET- If you do not have your helmet you will not be allowed to ride with us. • Water/sports drink. • Items to fix a flat if necessary (tube, pump or CO2 canister, tire levers).
