*** ROCKY NEEDS YOUR HELP TONIGHT *** RESERVE HIM ONLINE*** A volunteer writes: Oy, such a face! Young Rocky has the merry eyes and endearing smile of every Bubbes favorite grandchild and his playful, affectionate personality make him a welcome guest wherever he goes. Hes a little shy at first and displays some fearfulness (loud noises make him cower and mean dogs freeze him in his tracks) but once we get out to the yard and he shakes off his worries, this gorgeous guy is a total clown! Im treated to a host of play bows as Rocky revels in his new found freedom and while hell sit still only for a squeaker, he always waits patiently for me to toss his toys and isnt grabby or pushy. Rocky loves a tennis ball and fetches nicely and while he prefers to keep it for himself theres no guarding to be seen and I can reach into his mouth for the ball without complaint. He comes when called and gently sniffs my treats before rejecting them and hes always a tail-wagging gentleman when meeting friendly dogs, not so much as flinching when a playful youngster on a long leash runs right up to him in the hall. Seemingly house broken as he uses the facilities promptly, Rocky will need some remedial leash training from his new parents as he pulls like a chunky little horse and occasionally tries to play with the leash, though a firm no puts a quick stop to his game. Snuggles and face massages are welcome (go on, you know you want to!) and hes happy to be handled any which way, his sweet smile never faltering. This fun-loving boy is more than ready to leave for an experienced forever home where he can shine like the superstar he is.
