ROFLOL, Only in DC will a snowfall ranging from a dusting to a few inches will cause government, work and school delays and closings. Folks who get truly heavy snowfalls would not believe the local snarl. Im up because theyre plowing our driveways. Waiting to see if the federal government is going to open two hours late or some other code. Ive lived here a long time and it still amazes and amuses me to see peoples snow panic. Got started on a friends new novel last night, fun reading but sleep and work got the best of me. Our weather girl and in this case I do mean weather girl just made a profound announcement; There is ice this morning. Did you know water turns to ice when the temperature goes below freezing? She is NOT a meteorologist. It is cold 12 F / -10 C so Im glad forntelework. I hope our Texas facility is open today. Spent yesterday doing both their work and ours. Well today is midweek so half way to the weekend and time to think about what to do this weekend. Im thinking a trip to Assategue National Seashore would be fun with the winter ocean. The beach would be desolate and the winter storm waves might be breath taking. Just a thought.......... Have a great day everyone.
