Off duty, he was abducted from his car in the New Lodge area of Belfast and he was found shot dead in Edlingham Street. MURDERED BY COWARDS. 1974: L/Cpl Philip James and Pte Roy Bedford 1 Para. Both shot dead during terrorist ambush at Moybane, XMG, Co Armagh. 1976: WO2 George Johnson RAPC. Cause of death as yet not known. 1978: Maj George Milburn RA. Cause of death as yet not known. 1982: Pte John McMaster UDR. Died of natural causes. 1990: Pte Alexander Phoenix 2 UDR. RTA victim. 1975: Woman R. Cons Mildred Harrison RUCR. Killed by a terrorist bomb in the High Street, Bangor, Co Down. Heros to the end R.I.P.
