ROLES OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. *The place of prayer,depend on the holy spirit. *Holy Spirit indwells and empowers us-Romans 8:9 ;1 Timothy 4:1 ;Revelation 2:7. *He speaks to us-Romans 2:29 *He opens our understanding to the things of God-1 Corinthians 2:12. *He teaches us and guides us into all truth-John 16:13 ;1 John 2:27. *He imparts life into us-John 6:63 ;2 Corinthians 3:6. *The Holy Spirit renews us-Titus 3:1-5 *He strengthens our inner being-Ephesians 3:16. *He gives us power to worship God in spirit and truth-Philippians 3:3 ;1 Corinthians 14:15 *He helps us to crucify the flesh-Romans 8:13 *He gives us calling into ministry-Acts 13:2-4. Until the Holy Spirit inspires you,you cannot do anything by yourself-Hebrews 5:4. The work of God is for everybody.But,you have to be called into specific ministry because it is a journey of faith.Matthew 4:19. Remember,it is a journey of faith. *He imparts spiritual gifts into us as he wills. THE ROLE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IN EFFECTIVE MINISTRATION. Ephesians 6:18 ;Romans 8:26 -After prayer,it is the Holy Spirit that brings our prayers to pass.When you see a Christian that is so proud,such a Christian has not encountered the Holy Spirit,and the greatest in the land is the humble person.The Holy Spirit can do the whole work but he decides to use human beings The Holy Spirit was and is the all and all in the Ministry of Jesus.For us to minister more effectively,we must depend solely on him for empowerment,power and effectiveness and we must engage him in everything we do.The Holy Spirit makes the power of God real in our ministry.He is the commander-in-chief in JesusMinistry. The wisdom in ministry is engaging the power and the presence of the Holy Spirit,because anointing is by faith and since it is by faith,we need to depend on him.This is the era of the Holy Spirit.There is nowhere we can go without him.
