RONNY Deila says it’s vital Celtic return to winning ways in the league against Dundee tomorrow (Sunday) following last week’s disappointing defeat away to Inverness Caley Thistle. The Hoops also experienced frustration in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday night as they exited the competition to NK Maribor in the play-off round. But the manager is confident his charges have recovered from these setbacks and are ready to turn in a positive performance at the home of the Scottish Premiership new boys. And having hit Dundee’s city rivals for six at Celtic Park two weeks ago, the Norwegian knows the standards his players are capable of. “I want to see much of the same I saw against Dundee United and try to progress from that,” said the Hoops boss. “I think that was a good performance and it will be an important match for us to get a good performance and result against Dundee. “We really want to win that game and again we are looking forward to bouncing back from the game against Inverness. “We have had some days since the Maribor game so we are prepared and we will have our energy back for the game on Sunday.” New signing Wakaso Mubarak is in contention for a place in the squad but the clash at Dens Park will come too soon for Aleksandar Tonev. “Wakaso has been out of training for some days and he has to get into things but it’s possible that he will make the squad,” added the manager. “Tonev will start training on Monday.”
