ROSEDALE ABOUT TO EXPERIENCE STREET STOCK ROCK N ROLLA Street Stock fans that were at Redline Raceway last Saturday are still buzzing days later over the feature race spectacular involving ‘Smooth Suspension’ Super Series drivers Brad McClure, Morris Ahearn & Mick Clark & the good news is those three are set to do it all again at Rosedale, throw in a number of drivers that were not at Redline including South Australian’s Anthony Beare & Jason Duell and the race for $1000 is going to go off! After the rain out at Darlington for the Stocky Stampede, the Eastern Challenge at Rosedale has drivers licking their lips for the first big money Victorian race of the season after weather & cancellation of other events have kept pushing the money races back. Street Stocks do not have a foothold in Gippsland, however have ran Victorian titles in the area & the aim of the series in heading to Rosedale is to inspire interested competitors to make the division happen in their zone. This Saturday nights show includes Sprintcars & Crash N Bash on the same show & the Street Stocks aim to upstage them both. Picking a winner from this list will be very challenging with Ahearn almost getting one over McClure last weekend, Steven Watts winning at Warrnambool already this season, Daryl Atkinson, Matt Nelson, Duell, Darren Giacometti all capable of winning against this sort of competition & of course McClure, Clark & Beare the benchmark drivers in this seasons series.
