ROUTE 139 COMMUNITY ADVISORY Route 139 Eastbound Upper Roadway to close between Summit Avenue and Palisade Avenue Beginning tonight, the Route 139 eastbound upper roadway will be closed between Summit Avenue and Palisade Avenue. Traffic traveling eastbound on the upper roadway will exit upper Route 139 via right turn onto Summit Avenue then turn left onto Hoboken Avenue and continue straight to return to the temporary roadway/Route 139 heading east. The Route 139 intersections at Palisade Avenue, Baldwin Avenue and Central Avenue will remain open to north and southbound motorists. This temporary detour will remain in effect until on or about April 1st. During this time, the contractor will completely remove and replace the floorbeam, deck, south columns and install highway lighting and traffic signals along the eastbound upper roadway. The nightly and daily single westbound lane closures will continue as follows: Monday – Thursday: 9 AM to 3 PM & 9 PM to 5 AM (following day) Friday: 9 AM to 3 PM & 11 PM to 9 AM (following day) Saturday: 11 PM to 9 AM (following day) Sunday: 9 PM to 5 AM (following day) NJDOT Route 139 Rehabilitation Project Community Outreach Team PC2@mbi-gs PulaskiSkyway (click on left menu link to Contract 2 - Route 139)
