ROV PILOTS are urgently needed to work for a multinational Company working in the Petroleum Services Field. Job Summary: Pilot/Technician to assist in the smooth operation and/or maintenance of the Remotely Operated Vehicle. Responsibilities: • To be safety aware, e.g. awareness of legislation/guidance, reporting accidents, awareness of company safety management system and own role/responsibility. • Knowledge of emergency procedures and handling emergency situations. • Knowledge of the ROV team members’ roles and responsibilities. • Works as part of a team, assists others and communicates well with team members. • Assists with the ROV launch and recovery operations. • Carry out ROV system and complete planned maintenance schedules. • Fault finding and maintenance of ROV control and navigational systems. • To be capable in navigating ROV to work site when supervisor not present and perform all general manipulator duties. • Can take responsibility for Launch & Recovery system when required. • Can carry out electrical and mechanical umbilical terminations with minimum supervision. • Capable of undertaking trade specialist tasks. • Ability to co-ordinate dive records – video, audio and written. Qualifications: Graduation Qualification: • B.Sc. in Engineering in any of the following majors “Preferably from Ain Shams University, Cairo University, Alexandria University, AUC or GUC”: o Electrical Communication. o Mechatronics Engineering. Professional Qualifications: • Electronics Maintenance. • Fiber Optic Maintenance. • Mechanical and Hydraulic Maintenance. • MS Office application – Advanced Level. Job Requirements: • Excellent written and spoken English (Preferably Language school graduates). • Flexible to work offshore. • Years of Experience: 0-2 years. • Nationality: Egyptian. • Gender: Male. • Number of Vacancies: 2.
