RTM Racing would like to make an official announcement!!! We will be raffling of a race car in 2015!!! It is a 1993 Geo Storm. It has a 1.6 Ltr. SOHC engine with a 5 speed manual transmission. We are going to build the car as stock as possible so that it meets the rules for as many classes at as many Maine tracks as possible. So far it looks like it will meet the rules for the following classes: Racing Stars of Tomorrow and Modified Enduro at Speedway 95, Teen Thunder and Modified Enduro at Unity Raceway, Thunder Fours and Enduro at Wiscasset Speedway, Runnin Rebel and Bandit at Oxford Plains Speedway, and the Beetle Bugs at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. Keep in mind that the car will be as stock as possible and will need to have modifications done by whoever wins it in order for it to meet the rules for the class that they decide to race in. Tickets will be $10 each or three for $25. The date of the drawing will be announced at a later date. Here is a short video of the car running. It is a little dark but when I finally got it running I was so excited and didnt want to wait until daylight to make the video. Please remember that the car is still a work in progress and by the time the drawing happens it will have much more done to it.
