RUGBY SHOWCASE THIS WEEKEND There will be no shortage of expectations and nerves among local rugby teams and supporters this weekend with some of the Province’s major sides in action. On the menu Baby Griquas in action in Kempton Park this afternoon. TOMORROW: Tomorrow’s opening game at GWK Park will kick off at 9am when Northern Cape High’s Under-15 side take on Voortrekker High from Bethlehem in the league semi-final. Then Landboudal and Bothaville High battle it out for supremacy in the Irawa League (smaller schools). The main curtain-raiser to the Currie Cup clash kicks off at 12.40pm and it is a do or die affair with Northern Cape High taking on Voortrekker in the Kovsies Region Shimlas League semi-final. Then Griquas go into their first home game of the Currie Cup season when they face a side who have had the better of them since 2009. ALL THE PREVIEWS IN THE DFA THIS MORNING
