RUMOR HAS IT..... where the WILD THINGS GROW is under going many new and exciting changes! 2013 was a year of amazing GROWTH and Change for Where the Wild Things Grow and Wild Child Photography! Looking ahead we predict much of the same for 2014! With so much growth I have to admit that it has been a challenge for me (Stephanie) to balance my five beautiful and very BUSY children and soon (July 2014) new husband and three new step children as well as running TWO business and loving on our Vintage downtown home! Wait....Did I mention the 8 kids.....? Did I mention the Pinterest dreams for my historic gem of a fixer upper? Did I mention my third job of mini van driver extortioner and under paid laundry lady???? Whew, What is a girl ...I mean middle aged mom to do? Simplify! and so....I PROUDLY announce that I am in the process of selling the store to a friend of mine:) Venessa Thumm will take over as the NEW owner of Where the Wild Things Grow as of February1st, 2014! I have known Venessa for several years and know my much loved Where the Wild Things Grow is in the best of hands! She is Creative, hardworking and very talented! Stop in and see the amazing changes she has already started....I feel VERY LUCKY to have someone with her drive and passion fall in love and have the same visions of success for Where the Wild Things Grow! But wait.......THERE IS MORE..........The BEST PART OF ALL ........ I will still be around as I will continue to run my photography business Wild Child Studios from Where the Wild Things Grow! I cant even begin to tell you how EXCITED I am to follow my passion and give my photography business the time it desperately needs! I have missed doing senior pictures, weddings and offering more availability than I have the last two years! Dreams do come true! How Lucky am I to follow my passion in a place I hold so dear and near!
