RUNNING FOR PEACE!!! As many of you know, we have an epidemic in our black community, as we are losing our young men at an alarming rate to these senseless acts of violence. We are always taking on FB about whats happening, including myself, but never really doing anything about it. With that said, to try an attempt at making a difference, I am coordinating a Running for Peace run through Englewood. Yes, Englewood. The run will consist of 5 miles. Im targeting Sunday, June 1st, with everyone meeting up at 8am and a start time of 9am. In order to make change, we have to start somewhere. Logistics will be provided shortly in regards to parking and where the run will start. Please let me know if you are interested, as well as pass this message on to anyone you may know who may be interested. I care about whats going on in my community and I do want to try to make a difference. Thank you.
