RUNS POLES & BARRELS Lil Smoke is an 2002 APHA registered (solid) gelding. He has been hauled to a few barrel races on and off the last three years. And has seen the poles even less but will go out and run 23/24 sec poles out of shape, with mistakes. Leg him up & start hauling him & he will take a couple seconds off his times!! Should make a competitive HS Pole horse and given the chance, may make a great HS level barrel horse too!! Always enters the arena well! Intermediate rider & up on the pattern. Would probably work for a beginner to just ride in an arena or round pen or if used on a trail ride away from home. Located in Eastern SD. I have not decided on a price yet. Open to reasonable offers until price is posted. I had no intention of offering this gelding for sale at this time but due to a few reasons, changed my mind. I will probably regret it but my loss is your gain! Should be shod (at least hind) when being run. He has a mild allergy so is being treated. His treatment is very inexpensive & very effective! Will answer any questions you have. I will be getting him legged up as soon as the weather allows, and then will be hauling him to barrel races until sold. I have no video of him on barrels newer than 2012 and they arent good but can send if someone really wants to see them. He runs a much cleaner pattern now. A video of poles from last year, will be posted in comments. It is just a slow-work video but he hadnt seen the pole pattern in over a year. He is not fully finished but wont take much.
