#RUScrewd rant: On our term bills there are various fees which I find to be unexplained and being that we are broke college students we deserve some answers. In example, we are charged campus fees, school fees and other fees which do not cover parking passes?? We are still forced to shell out 300 dollars to park in a campus lot and the tax on that is so questionable. Course fees(lab etc.) which to me cover nothing because I was forced to buy manuals, lab coats, goggles, and an online access code totaling like $200 for both my labs alone. If I break something I have to pay for it as well so what exactly are my lab fees covering??? On top of all of this, they stick us with outrageous parking tickets, overcrowded and unreliable buses, and ancient classroom buildings that need work. I think before they start building everything new they need to do some serious maintenance on the dorms( the quads, towers), dining halls(specifically Brower-Ive seen the mold), and classroom buildings. We should at least be able to have classes in rooms that are not ice boxes in the winter and saunas in the summer.
